Seraph of the End’s previous chapter, “Yu & Guren,” deals with the question of where Mika and Yu are heading. They need to find out what their strategy is after stating that Guren Mahiru Ferid Krul is in cahoots. When Yu develops a new concept, he asks Guren what his long-term goals are. If Guren does not respond to his queries, Yu will demolish the vehicle and walk away from the scene.
Amidst the fighting, he wonders if Guren was responsible for the deaths of both his family and Kimizuki’s. Both fighters are thrown from the truck and begin stabbing at adjacent buildings. They can only take a few more strikes from Mahiru when he’s employing poison.
