Pokémon GO is continually being updated and expanded as a live-service smartphone game. Many of today’s video games receive regular upgrades to help them function smoothly on a wide variety of platforms, and that is certainly the case with this one. Since Pokémon GO is an AR-collecting game, new Pokémon and goodies are expected to be added to the game on a regular basis. Pokémon games like Diamond and Pearl or Gold and Silver are often used as inspiration for the new creatures.
The Hisuian Electrode from Pokémon Legends: Arceus was released earlier this month as proof that Pokémon from subsequent entries in the series would be added.
