As an Animal Crossing: New Horizons player, you can now wear the iconic Arceus outfit from Pokémon Legends: Arceus in the game. In the game world, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has long served as a springboard for imaginative design work on everything from exquisite island hamlets to daily wearables like apparel. There are a lot of media influences, especially video games like Pokémon Legends: Arceus, so this design is based on that game’s recent release. This month, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the game’s newest instalment, was published.
According to previous Pokémon games, the game has been a tremendous success and even received critical accolades. The game’s protagonists, Akari and Rei, are shown in their Galaxy Team uniforms, which feature thick jackets and scarves, reminiscent of the designs in the original Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum games. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players may customise their character’s appearance, even more, however, each one begins out wearing the same set of clothes. For those who desire to wear the costume from Pokémon Legends: Arceus in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, pepper gecko posted a Reddit link with a download code.
Players in Pokémon Legends: Arceus may take on the role of Akari and explore vast wilderness areas like they do in the game’s main character, Akari. A reader inquired whether the original poster would draw Akari’s polar opposite, Rei, in the comments. Others pointed out that Rei’s design would be very similar, only requiring her to swap out her skirt for a different hat and a different pair of boots to complete the look. Animal Crossing: New Horizons shares more in common with Pokémon Legends: Arceus than any other Pokémon game has ever had.
Even if the visuals aren’t the best, Pokémon Legends: Arceus still has a wonderful art design that will only encourage further creative initiatives from enthusiasts. The current game also offers a much more patient style of play where players focus on making goods and gathering Pokémon to fill the Pokédex rather than competing through the ranks to become champion.
However, there are plenty of other items and designs to work on in Animal Crossing, so you won’t have to worry about Pokémon. After the release of the premium DLC, Happy Home Paradise, there will be no future updates to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It doesn’t matter how great collaboration between it and Pokémon Legends: Arceus would be, it’s unlikely to happen. Fortunately, with Animal Crossing aficionados eager to reproduce video games, this isn’t the last Pokémon Legends: Arceus allusion to be found on the tropical island.
