It’s hard to believe that a 3D artist on TikTok created this adorable mashup video of Attack on Titan and Animal Crossing. The final product is charming in every way, making it ideal for Attack on Titan and Animal Crossing lovers alike. Almost two years after its release on Nintendo Switch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still going strong. The latest update to the game was in November of 2021, and additional updates are expected this year.
For as long as the game is supported by Nintendo in 2022, the game’s devoted fans are there to keep it alive. Players have been creative when it comes to personalising their islands, and the results are stunning. Some people go so far as to include elements from their favourite video games, movies, and television episodes into the architecture of their island. Attack on Titan is now the most popular anime in the world.
Originally shown in 2013, this last season of this titan-slaying series is presently running, and its popularity is at an all-time high. Peachy Fried was inspired to upload 3D models of Attack on Titan characters if they appeared in Animal Crossing on TikTok after the show’s last episode. On Twitter, Luvrhime shared the video. An Eren Yeager T-pose model was the first thing seen in the video. Eren makes a charming villager in his Scout Regiment outfit, complete with furious blue eyes and a cravat that presumably belonged to Levi.
Peachy Fried then reproduced Eren’s epic strike on the Colossal Titan utilising his omnidirectional mobility gear. Eren, on the other hand, utilises butterfly nets to drag down the villager, who stands at 60 metres (197 feet). The end product is awe-inspiring. What would you call this mashup, if you had to name it? “Titan Crossing?” Peachy Fried wonders. Is there life on Titan? Was the village attacked? This humorous cross-over might have any title. “Shinzou Wo Sasageyo,” an opening song from the second season of Attack on Titan, was included in the accompanying TikTok video.
With Blender, Peachy Fried created the models for the characters and animations. In order to give their models a more traditional, cel-shaded look, they employed the grease pencil tool to doodle on top of them. Blender has been utilised in the film and animation industries for CGI and pre-visualization work.
Among the many films that have made use of its capabilities is the Academy Award-nominated animated picture Wolfwakers. The Animal Crossing community, as usual, has a plethora of imaginative ideas. You can’t help but smile when you see what fans have done with Animal Crossing, especially when they mix the charming aesthetic with another well-known series. When the Colossal Titan emerges as a villager, it doesn’t look quite as terrifying. Eren’s butterfly nets should be a major concern for it.
