Raw Scans & Spoilers for Dr Stone Chapter 228
The last clash between Senku and Whyman will take place in Episode 228. One day, we’ll figure out what caused the dark spot on the Moon’s surface in the first place. Whyman appears to be nothing more than a solar-powered A.I. running on a supercomputer. We saw in the previous chapter that the American flag that Neil Armstrong raised on the moon in 1969 is still standing and flying proudly. So, it’s not a surprise that this high-tech gadget has been around for so long. It’s only the grenade net launcher that’s left for the team, and Senku is going to make the most of it.
When the raw scans and spoilers for Dr Stone Chapter 228 are released, we’ll know more about what’s going to happen next. Check back between Friday and Saturday to see if they’ve appeared before the chapter’s official release.
Recap of Dr. Stone’s Chapter 227
In order to get Kohaku to open the vacuum tube containing the medusa device, Whyman imitates Senku’s voice in Chapter 227. Kohaku is left with no choice but to throw the tube into the sky, avoiding petrification by a hair. It was impossible for the scientists to help but see Whyman as an evil version of Senku, complete with frightening eyes. Senku, Kohaku, and Stanley ultimately set foot on the Moon in Chapter 227. Whoever or whatever it is that turned humanity to stone is about to confront them.
On the other side of the galaxy, Stanley is worried about the lack of advanced weaponry. A pair of net launchers is all they have, and they won’t be of much use on the Moon. Senku reflects on their voyage from Stone World to the Moon, and how they ultimately made it there. When they saw the black patch on the Moon’s satellite image, though, he wasted no time in rushing for it. Furthermore, they’ve brought the medusa device along with them in case they ever needed to use it as a weapon or healing resource.
A microphone is attached to the gadget, which is housed in a vacuum tube. The medusa requires a complex system to function in space. In a split second, Kohaku receives a command to open the vacuum tube. When Senku’s behaviour stuns her, she immediately removes the seal. Because he’d been imitating Senku’s voice, Whyman had been able to get Kohaku to freeze in their tracks. Fortunately, Senku arrived just in time to prevent Kohaku from activating the device. With nothing else to do, she throws the device into the air, barely avoiding medusa’s reach.
