Will Ohma join the fight against Edward Wu in Kengan Omega Chapter 144?
Erioh sacrifices himself to give his companions a chance to take down Edward Wu in the previous episode, titled Sacrificial Pawn, but will Wu Xing’s attack be enough to kill the villain, or will Erioh die in the process? When Muteba Ginzenaga learns of Tokito Ohmas plans to join the Kure in their struggle against Edward Wu, he approaches him and offers to make a bargain to go along with him on his new adventure. Edward Wu’s fate will be revealed in Kengan Omega Chapter 144. If Ohma and Muteba decide to join the fight, so be it.
Spoilers For Chapter 144
Here are some huge spoilers for Kengan Omega Chapter 144, which just dropped. As Erioh dies, Edward Wu feels the pain of Wu Xing’s critical hit. The title of the latest chapter is Transcendent. After that, we’re treated to a flashback featuring Erioh, Wu Xing, and the rest of the Kure family. In Erioh’s view, Edward is a combatant rather than an assassin, and he was once a combatant but has deteriorated due to age. He warns that if they want to kill him, they will have to adopt an assassin’s strategy and make sacrifices.
Wu Xing pledges that Erioh’s sacrifice would not go in vain, yet Ed is still alive. As it turns out, the poison isn’t doing anything, and the removal was on an artery instead. According to Erioh, not even a covert attack will suffice.
Erioh is cursed by Kure Raian, who pops up behind Ed and accuses him of making the sacrifice. Raian is thrown to the ground after Ed charges him and punches him hard in the face.
Taking the Wu Clan Ultimate Technique, Mount Tai North Star Eightfold Demolition Fist, Ed performs. In the midst of a ferocious exchange of strikes, Ed wonders why he is still unable to bring Raian to the ground. When Ed hears Erioh say these words, he changes his tune “You were far too powerful. You lost because of that. Confidence is a byproduct of your overpowering strength.” When Raian is at his peak, Erioh claims that he will be overtaken by him.
Once Ed’s neck is severed, Raian tells him that he had no chance of winning.
