Shinra Kusakabe is a third-generation pyrokinetic who can set fire to his feet. Shinra joins Special Fire Force Company 8, a pyrokinetic team, on a mission to deal with Infernals, people who have been converted into living flames owing to spontaneous combustion.
The second season of “Fire Force” concluded in December 2020, and the show quickly rose to become one of Amazon Prime Japan’s top five most-watched anime television shows (Via Anime News Network). Fans have obviously expressed their want for a third season of the popular show, so here’s everything we know so far about Season 3 of “Fire Force.”
When will Fire Force’s third season be released?
Season 3 of “Fire Force” has yet to be confirmed, and no release date for the third season has been set. However, given the show’s popularity, which has resulted in large manga sales, there is reason to believe that a second season is in the works and that an announcement might come as soon as this summer.
According to the official “Fire Force” Anime Twitter account, the manga has sold over 15 million copies by the end of April. With such high ratings, it’s evident that the show is successful enough to merit a second season. The manga, according to Atsushi Kubo, will be completed soon, which may cause a delay in the development of a new anime season. Okubo, the manga’s author, told Monsters and Critics that while things could change, he expected the series to end around volume 30.
Furthermore, Okubo claimed in the manga’s 23rd volume that the storey had come to an end and that “Fire Force” would be his final attempt, according to Anime News Network. Because the manga has been published in 28 volumes, estimating when it will be completed may be difficult. Season 3 could premiere in late 2020 or early 2021, while an official announcement is more likely to come later in the year, with a release date in 2022 or later.
What is the plot of Fire Force Season 3?
At the moment, we don’t have any concrete plot elements for Season 3 of “Fire Force.” We can reasonably predict what Shinra will be up to in Season 3 based on how well the anime has followed the manga thus far.
Season 1 of the anime covered volumes 1 through some of volume 11, Season 2 covered the remainder of book 11 up to certain chapters of volume 20, and Season 3 covered the remainder of volume 20. Unless the anime series deviates into filler territory like “Naruto” or “Bleach,” Season 3 may adapt volume 20 of the manga all the way up to the book’s likely ending if the book is indeed nearing its conclusion. If it hasn’t already, the Season 2 finale appears to foreshadow a far larger war between Company 8 and the Evangelists in the future.
Shinra’s training was pushed to a new level dubbed “The Press Of Death” in order for him to get stronger and fight against the Company’s most lethal opponents. Meanwhile, in the season finale, the killing of Captain Hague of Company 4 delivered a deadly blow to the heroes. Continue reading to find out more. Shinra, on the other hand, may form an Adolla Link, allowing him to witness Hague’s death moments due to his superior talent. As a result of these events, Company 8 will almost certainly team up with the Tokyo Empire in Season 3 to take on the Evangelist’s formidable forces.
