We Think This Is The Best-Looking GTA 6 Logo Yet, Inspired by Scarface

Grand Theft Auto VI fan art based on the classic Scarface film has recently appeared online. Fanart inspired by Grand Theft Auto can be found all over the internet. Drawings, sculptures, and 3D art have all been inspired by the long-running open-world crime franchise.

Classic movies and pop culture have been cited as influences on the Grand Theft Auto series. In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, for example, the 1990s west-coast gangster culture and comedies like Friday were clearly referenced in the game’s style and tone. All of Rockstar’s satirical games take place in a different time period and, for the most part, in a different location in America. As a result, it’s not surprising that Vice City has drawn comparisons to Brian De Palma’s classic 1983 film Scarface, which was set in the neon-drenched tropical setting of Florida in the 1980s. Vice City’s visual style, gratuitous violence, and a heavy focus on drug trafficking have a lot in common with De Palma’s crime film Scarface, even though Tommy Vercetti’s storey is far more comedic and irreverent than Tony Montana’s in Scarface.

Gr0777, a Redditor who goes by the handle of GTA: Vice City and Scarface, has taken advantage of the similarities between the two and created a simple but effective logo. In this mock-up of a Grand Theft Auto VI logo, the iconic black-and-white style used in so many Scarface posters is referenced, while also paying homage to Vice City’s logo. In particular, the “VI” subtitle of “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City” is presented in a Scarface-inspired style similar to that of Vice City.

The next Grand Theft Auto game is expected to take place in Vice City, according to many GTA fans. Due to the fact that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has yet to be featured in HD, many people have come to this conclusion, among which is Vice City’s omission (controversial remakes notwithstanding). The most latest game in the series, GTA V, returned players to Los Santos, so some speculate that Rockstar will try to modernise Vice City in the same way they did with GTA V.

GTA VI has so little information available that fan speculation is likely to continue for some time. It’s safe to assume that GTA VI will take place in Vice City, but other cities like Chicago, Boston, Detroit, and Atlanta haven’t been featured in the series and would be great additions to the series if they were included. Whatever the case, we can only hope that the next location will not disappoint GTA fans.
