Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 66 Spoilers, Raw Scans, Release Date, Summaries, Storyline, Plot & Everything you need to know

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, the famous monthly shonen manga created by Masashi Kishimoto and illustrator Mikio Ikemoto, will return in January 2022 with a fresh new chapter. After jumping to defend Naruto from Borushiki’s (Momoshiki within Boruto’s body) tremendous strike, Kawaki has shockingly unlocked a new karma form, but what is going on? Will the newfound strength be enough to stop Code and Momoshiki? We’ve assembled the most recent information on Boruto Chapter 66 in this post, including spoilers, release date and time, and where to read it. We will continue to update the post as new information becomes available, so bookmark it now.

Spoilers for Boruto Chapter 66: A significant character death?
Borushiki and Kawaki charged at each other in the previous episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, with Borushiki launching a fully-charged Chou Oodama Rasengan at Naruto. To protect Naruto, Kawaki leaps in front of the strike, but he entirely absorbs its strength, startling everyone.
Surprisingly, Kawaki has triggered a new Karma form, with his left eye now sporting a lightly-coloured triangle and the appearance of Isshiki’s horn and finger pattern. That seems inconceivable to Code, and he wonders how it happened.
Update: Major spoilers have been revealed ahead of the publication of the next chapter. Organic Dinosaur, a trustworthy leaker, has supplied information about Chapter 66, titled Kill or Be Killed.
The chapter opens with Kawaki’s newly activated Karma arm. He recalls a talk he had with Amado about the “power” he intends to wield.
Ada and Code are perplexed by Kawaki’s abilities, debating whether the repairs to his arm and the ensuing battle were the conditions necessary to “awaken that power.” A daemon can still be seen asleep in Ada’s arms.
Kawaki examines his arm before staring coldly at Borushiki, who proceeds to tease Kawaki.
Suddenly, nine black rods appear from Kawaki and are pointed directly towards Borushiki, who manages to avoid the initial strike. Kawaki then turns his arm into a scythe and hits him once again, which Borushiki can also avoid, but the assaults are coming closer.
He then witnesses four black cubes growing in the sky above them before falling to the ground for yet another massive blow.
Meanwhile, Code’s claw remains wrapped around Shikamaru’s neck, and he continues to dig deeper while Naruto and Kawaki converse. Naruto inquires as to how far Kawaki is ready to go, to which he responds that he is only doing what has to be done for his own sake.
While Kawaki is preoccupied, Borushiki attempts a flanking attack, but he is able to dispel the chakra that was being prepared in the technique.
Kawaki then does an “unnamed fire ninjutsu,” but Borushiki extinguishes the flames and attempts to kick Kawaki, but he avoids by abruptly shrinking and immediately expanding once they miss.
Borushiki moves away and throws a few Shuriken, but Kawaki shrinks them as well. They continue to assault each other as the fight heats up, and while they are able to avoid most of their strikes, Naruto’s anxiety grows as he watches them fight.
Borushiki’s left eye begins to open, indicating that Boruto is re-emerging, but Kawaki makes an open palm motion, revealing four additional black rods. They went right through Boruto’s body, striking him in the arm, belly, shoulder, and knee.
A massive black cube rises above him, but Naruto saves Boruto just as it collides with him.
Naruto then informs Kawaki that this is no joke and that he has to cool off and calm down before murdering Boruto. Boruto, on the other hand, abruptly stands up and pushes his father away. He has his hand over his eye. He mentions a “last resort” option while squatting on the ground and staring off into the distance.
Boruto then clasps his hands together and seals the serpent hand as Naruto screams in terror. Naruto is able to re-touch his son, but Boruto shoots him out of the way with the Wind Release Gale Palm.
Boruto looks at Kawaki and asks him to murder him while his awareness is still repressing Momoshiki, and Kawaki explains that Boruto has been prepared for this moment.
Kawaki then pierces Boruto’s chest… “at least a metre of Kawaki’s changed arm has gone out the other side,” which is now dripping blood.
Naruto watches in horror as Kawaki pulls his arm further, bringing the two face to face, then retracts his arm, sending Boruto soaring through the air and crashing to the ground in a crumpled heap. Boruto is lying on his back with his head tilted to the right. The final page of the chapter shows Naruto’s son with a big hole in his chest, and he seems astonished to see him down.
This concludes Chapter 66, however fans should keep in mind that Boruto’s death has not been proven, so he might still be alive.
