The Fire Festival at Wano appears to be coming to a close shortly, which suggests that the war at Onigashima may be approaching its conclusion as well. One Piece Chapter 1,037 Recap and Analysis
Despite the fact that the event is still in full swing in the Flower Capital, many are already planning for its conclusion. Kaido and Luffy are still at one other’s throats, but Kaido has taken to drinking. He bursts out laughing, tears in his eyes, prompting Luffy to chastise him for getting intoxicated on the spot. Kaido says that he is referring to the fact that he recognises Luffy’s power. He launches a barrage of blows that are powerful enough to break through the earth.
While fighting Luffy, Kaido’s attitude begins to shift, and he begins to feel depressed. Luffy is successful in his counterattack. Once again, the two of them engage in combat with their Haki. Kaido has become agitated, and the two of them begin exchanging punches. Luffy ultimately manages to deliver a kick that is powerful enough to make Kaido cough up a little amount of blood.
Meanwhile, at Marijoa, the Five Elders are discussing what is going on in Wano with one another. Certainly, they did not anticipate that the dispute would escalate to this point. No matter how they look at it, they’re debating whether a battle between Kaido and Big Mom would be helpful to them. For some reason, they also believe that the CP0 members have already apprehended Robin and brought him to justice.
The Five Elders also discuss a mystery Devil Fruit with a name that has been altered by the World Government in an attempt to erase the old name from historical records. The World Government ships that are waiting near Wano, on the other hand, come face to face with a giant elephant’s shadow.
