As soon as Megumi launches his Domain Expansion, Reggie replies with an equal amount of force. He activates his Shadow-Style Simple Domain, Hollow Wicker Basket, in order to nullify Megumi’s Domain and eliminate the “guaranteed hit” condition that is associated with her Domain. Megumi, on the other hand, unleashes his Toads in order to capture Reggie’s ankles. This is explained in the narrative, which says that Reggie’s Hollow Wicker Basket and Simple Domain are not capable of nullifying a cursed method. While these methods can negate the “guaranteed hit” condition in a barrier that has been loaded with a cursed technique, Megumi’s Domain is not completely negated by these techniques.
The transformation of the gymnasium into his Domain appears to be complete, but it does not have the “can’t miss assault” condition. As a result, his Domain Expansion is really an extension of the cursed method known as the Ten Shadows. It was because of this incompleteness that Reggie was temporarily distracted, allowing Megumi to throw a slew of blows.
Reggie regains his footing and launches a counter-offensive, but Megumi is ready to answer. In order to avoid being crushed by his own weight, Reggie believes that Megumi must continue to bear the weight of whatever is in his shadow for the time being.
It is Megumi who informs Reggie that he has overlooked the fact that there is a shadow just over him. Megumi then unleashes the Max Elephant shikigami, demonstrating her determination not to back down.

Megumi is capable of transporting approximately 40 tonnes of weight. Reggie has suffered an injury as a result of the Max Elephant. He attempts to escape the shadow by driving a truck and then unleashes a building in an attempt to crush Megumi. Reggie, on the other hand, finds himself surrounded by water, which is really from the swimming pool that is located within the gymnasium.
Megumi was able to disperse his Domain Expansion without Reggie realising what she had done. Reggie can still perform his method despite becoming wet, but he doesn’t have enough cursed energy to do so anymore, unfortunately.
