The popularity of South Korean entertainment is expected to soar in 2021 as a result of widespread coverage in the mainstream media. It is more usual for non-Koreans to get their hands on Korean culture via light novels and Webtoons, which have become increasingly popular in the nation as foreigners become more familiar with Korean pop culture and television shows.
How long do you think it will take for the South Korean Webtoon series, Solo Leveling, to come to an end? Is the storey going to stop at the end of this month, or will there be a new chapter posted this week?
THIS WEEK’S RELEASE OF SOLO LEVELING CHAPTER 180 OR NONE OF THESE?
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Solo Leveling Chapter 180 will not be published this week, next week, or anytime in the near future. According to D&C Webtoon’s verification of Woo’s Jin-end narrative’s just a few days ago, this looks to be the case.
As of November 2016, the English edition of Solo Leveling (entitled “Only I level up”) has already completed its eleventh volume. The English edition will remain current until the year 2019.
With more than 412,000 readers on Kakao when Solo Leveling initially started serialisation in 2018, its Webtoon runs established Solo Leveling as one of the most popular series in the world.
Is there any chance of Solo Leveling returning at any time?
A spin-off series after the events of Solo Leveling, which is currently in development, is an option that many fans are aware of despite Solo Leveling’s termination.
In addition to allowing you to level up, Solo Leveling provides a wealth of “lore” that the entire universe may benefit from studying.
Even though Chugong and D&C Media have not confirmed the existence of a spin-off project, Solo Leveling’s worldwide success will almost probably force them to contemplate a continuation of the project.
There was talk of maybe including more countries in this series, which told the backstories of the world’s most formidable hunters. As far as I’m concerned, there are a number of other stories that might be told, such as that of Thomas Andre in the US, Lui Zhigagang in China, or Goto Ryuji in Japan.
ANIMAL ADAPTATION IS A POSSIBLE CAUSE OF THIS INCIDENT.
The season finale of Solo Leveling aired last week, and as fans were watching and absorbing the episode, rumours were flying on social media that an anime version of the show had been revealed.
Fans were alarmed to learn that ‘THE BOYZ’ had composed a totally new piece of music specifically for the show.
A short teaser video for the next song was attached to the news announcement, despite the fact that it came just a few minutes after the last chapter was published.
The release of the new OST in February 2022 is planned to coincide with the announcement of the availability of the final physical volume in South Korea, according to the timeline.
As of this writing, Solo Leveling has not been adapted into an anime, despite rumours to the contrary.
