The success of the programme and whether or not there is any unadapted source material to adapt are two factors to consider when deciding whether or not to renew an anime series. As long as the comic on which “The God of High School” is based is still running, there is ample material to draw from.
The anime has been well-received thus far, and it continues to draw in new fans. We may safely presume that “The God of High School” will be revived at some point in the future, given this situation.
A Season 2 renewal for “The God of High School” hasn’t been confirmed by the powers that be as of yet. Thus, there can be no way of knowing when new episodes will air.
But bear in mind that “The God of High School” premiered in late summer 2020 and ran through September on Crunchyroll. A new season might begin in June 2022 if the show is renewed later this summer.
The storyline for the second season of “God of High School.”
The first season of “The God of High School” contains a comprehensive storey arc. At the end of Season 1, Taek (Kenjiro Tsuda) evolves into a deity, transcending humanity and unleashing talents on Mori and his friends.
Because of this change, Mori is able to remember that he is the powerful god Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, and not just a high school student. He is able to summon his own abilities and his staff, Ruyi Jingu, which he uses to attack Taek, who transforms into a monster, thanks to this knowledge.
With the help of his friends, Mori beats Taek and wins The God of High School tournament. Ilpyo’s damaged party members are then healed by his request. It’s possible that the season’s main plot arc may be revisited in the following episodes, despite the season finale’s conclusion.
At the end of the first season, Daewi and Mira tell Mori that he must return to his homeland in order to entirely remove his memories as a deity from his mind. They will very probably travel to the top reaches of the gods’ realm in a second season. The first season of “The God of High School” is now available for viewing on Crunchyroll and HBO Max.

Considering the narratives of the anime, we can make some educated guesses on who, if anybody, would return for Season 2 if and when it is revealed. Sun Wukong (The Monkey King) is revealed to be Jin Mori, a 17-year-old high school student, in “The God of High School.”
When Tatsumaru Tachibana appears in the second season, it’s likely he’ll reprise his role. Han Daewi and Yu Mira, Mori’s two best friends who also compete in the tournament at the heart of the series, are also anticipated to return.
