It looks that the Imagined Order, the nefarious group from Chapter 2, has returned to Fortnite and is attempting to bore many holes through the brand-new map in Chapter 3 to reach the other side. The next chapter of Fortnite has just been released, and it includes new mechanics, a new flipped map, and a host of other new features. In the free-to-play multiplayer title, players now have access to new avatars, cosmetics, and gameplay elements like sliding and swinging, allowing them to move around the battlefield with greater fluidity than in previous battle royale games of the genre.
In Chapter 2 of Fortnite, the Imagined Order was introduced as one of the game’s primary adversaries, an ancient organisation that has been in command of “The Loop” for millennia. “The Loop” is used by the Imagined Order to alter and move between realities, putting the game’s world at risk. Those stranded on Fortnite’s island are trapped in the battle royale for what seems like an eternity. The Imagined Order is expected to go to war with players and The Seven in order to end the Loop, despite their assistance in Chapter 2 in fighting back against the alien army with high-tech weaponry.
The Imagined Order looks to be back, this time with even more cunning intentions to seize power. Mole Team: Omega, a new area northeast of Logjam Lumberyard, is defended by IO troops, according to Game Informer. An investigation will shortly reveal that IO has established an outpost and is digging into the island. In addition, a rocket launcher can be found in a tent. It was also revealed by Fortnite-focused content maker HYPEX that several Imagined Order drill outposts are likely to spring up as Chapter 3’s snow begins to thaw, hinting to plot development and the likelihood of an event near Season 1’s conclusion.
Today, the snow in Chapter 3 is scheduled to begin thawing, exposing the return of Tilted Towers in six different stages. Tilted Towers may become a new Point of Interest on January 18th if the rumour is true, marking the 4th anniversary of the popular destination and the end of its last stage. Update 19.10, which is rumoured to be arriving on the same day, is said to include even additional material for Season 2.
The return of the Imagined Order, a faction that has played a significant role in Fortnite’s brief history, might lead to catastrophic bloodshed. If a fight erupts over the game’s seasonal cycle, it isn’t clear why the organisation is drilling through the map to get to the other side.
