Beastmen are imprisoned in the Lindis’ Empire, but Aeria was exempt since she was royalty. Theord recognises that Aeria is not of royal blood and inquires as to why she does not address him as her father. Aeria warned him about the people surrounding her in the most recent chapter of The Max-Level-Hero-Has-Returned, and how they would spread tales that he is connected to a lowly beastman like her.
Theord becomes enraged and telephones Albus, asking if they should be executed. He did, however, instruct Albus to uncover them correctly. He’s enraged that they’re saying ridiculous things about the Imperial Family, and they deserve a penalty from which they’ll never recover. Albus instructed Theord to leave everything in his capable hands. Aeria begs Theord not to do such things, and he pats her head and tells her she is the adored one. He made the decision to spare those folks in order to protect his precious daughter.
Theord swears that anybody who speaks ill of the Emperor’s daughter shall be destroyed. Aeria also instructed her what she would do if any of the beastmen were wounded. She asks him to promise, and Theord assures her that she need not worry. Albus consented to the command and assured Theord that he would carry it out. Meanwhile, in Hine Region, Davey awakens, opens the windows, and sees he has travelled a considerable distance. He discovers he abandoned the conflict in the Pelisti Kingdom.
Summary
Davey believes the bandits were following her, and if it had been him, he would have given them a lesson. However, he is relieved that the girl was safe and was able to cross the border with her people. The maid arrives and inquires about Princess Elena of the Pallan Empire, who wishes to meet with him. Davey brightens as he learns that a princess has asked to meet him. The maid approaches him and asks if she may show the princess how to get to the reception room. Regardless of what he believes, Davey recognises that the princess is a major deal.
He is impressed that the Hines Region, although being a superstar Territory, is improving. He wonders what the priceless princess from Pallan, the great kingdom, is doing on the opposite side of the Hines Region. Davey anticipated that the princess would take some time to visit Hines Region. He also considered Yulis and understood that Yulis’ coming is assisting in the strengthening of the Hines Region. Davey instructed the maid to turn down the princess. The maid is perplexed, and he acknowledges as much. Davey is joined by Persek, Red, and Blue.
Persek asks whether he’s terrified of what may happen, and Davey responds that he’s not trying to be tough. They come every month, requesting to meet with Davey, who gives them the same replies and refuses them 13 times. Davey understands he started it as fun, but it ends up causing him problems. Davey’s refusal to meet with the princess enraged the Red Knights. Davey didn’t mind because he knew what he was doing. He explained his actions to Persek.
