The conflict is done, but now everyone must deal with the devastating fallout — especially Takemichi — that has resulted. While Takemichi may have resolved to cope with the challenges that arise in the future on his own, Hina is well aware that he is going through an exceptionally tough period at the moment.
Summary of Chapter 235 of Tokyo Revengers
15th of July, 2008 — It has been one week since the events of the War of the Three Deities, which resulted in the deaths of two people: Draken and South Terano, took place. Takemichi is still in the hospital recuperating from his injuries. A large number of friends pay him visits, and Hina is at his side at all times. Hina steps out of the room for a little period to go shopping. In the meantime, other members of the Tokyo Manji Gang pay a visit to Takemichi’s residence. When Takemichi confronts them about Draken’s disappearance, Angry, Smiley, and the others repent profusely. As they sympathise with him, they point out that he’s probably the one who’s going through the most difficulty right now. They also assure him that they will be able to assist him if he should want assistance.
Takemichi expresses gratitude to them while assuring them that he is OK. To himself, Takemichi declares that he no longer want to involve anybody else in his situation, and he promises to safeguard everyone himself. Hina returns and informs Takemichi that his friends continued to pay him visits despite the fact that he was unconscious. She informs him that he is fortunate to have wonderful friends who are concerned about him and his well-being. Takemichi, on the other hand, holds himself responsible for what transpired, which is why he wants to handle the rest of the situation alone.
Hina isn’t sure that Takemichi is in a good condition. She hugs him and tells him that it’s good to let it all out and to weep when he needs to. Everything that has transpired has been quite unpleasant. Takemichi breaks down when he hears Hina’s remarks and begins to sob.
