“After torturing their hostage, Kurobane and Jujumaru make their way into Konoha in order to acquire the item Mozuku is transporting. Cho-Cho is gushing over Kawaki, and Mozuku is treating him cruelly as a result of his conduct.
Naruto receives a report on the victim from Konohamaru, and Shikamaru draws a connection between the victim and a run of killings, concluding that they are connected to Kawaki’s client. The members of Team 7 become aware of Kurobane and Jujumaru while on their mission. Kawaki, who is being watched by Kurobane and Jujumaru, shares ChoCho’s meal with her and opens up to Mozuku as a result of this.
It is during the foggy night that they manage to capture Team Shikadai and steal the box from Mozuku. While Kurobane departs with the box, Jujumaru remains behind to eliminate Team Shikadai from the game. Cho-Cho manages to break through the barrier, liberating the others, but at the cost of putting herself under Jujumaru’s influence. Shikadai, on the other hand, utilises Shadow Possession to take control of ChoCho and surprise Jujumaru.
After a long and arduous battle in which Cho-Cho is injured while defending Mozuku, Kawaki and Shikadai defeat Jujumaru and take him down. He describes his plans of researching a treatment for the plague that has befallen his country, as well as how the Feudal Lord sanctioned their killings in secret in order to gain control of the remedy. Kawaki chooses to assist Mozuku in bringing the medication back to his homeland in a safe manner, ignoring Shikadai’s orders and asking him to return ChoCho to the community instead.”
