The fourth season of World Trigger will be produced by Toei Animation, a Japanese animation studio. World Trigger Season 4 will see the conclusion of the B-Rank Wars story arc as well as a new adaptation of the Expedition Selection Exam story arc. The manga writer Daisuke Ashihara’s health issues aren’t going away, so what does this mean for the anime TV series’ future?
The core cast for the fourth season of World Trigger has not yet been announced. Some of the original cast members are likely to return for the next fourth season. However, this is not confirmed as yet. Morio Hatano, who succeeded Kouji Ogawa as director for the second and third seasons, took over for the former. A director with Morio’s pedigree will seem an obvious choice for the fourth season if one is in the works.
Some of the personnel from the previous season returned for the second and third seasons. Hiroyuki Yoshino, a returning writer, wrote the series (Code Geass, Magi, Strike The Blood).
Toshihisa Kaiya (Ascendance of a Bookworm, Haikyuu!!), a returning artist, was the character designer. Kenji Kawai (Mob Psycho 100 Season 3, Fate/stay Night, No Guns Life) composed the soundtrack.
The OP and ED theme songs for World Trigger Season 4 have yet to be released.
“Time Factor” and “Yearning to Be Above the Clouds (Ungair Doukei)” were performed by Kami wa Saikoro o Furanai and Fantastic Youth, respectively, during season three.
On March 10, 2021, three Blu-ray boxes, including all 73 episodes of the first season, were released. The manga creator’s recent hiatuses and breaks appear to be key to the anime TV show’s survival plan. The release date appears to have been altered on the fly based on the language used in the official announcements.
Another possibility is that there were two seasons planned for the second season. According to the show’s official Twitter page, they “decided to build a third season as the tale was broken into two half.”
Toei Animation’s official website states that the second season was originally scheduled to conclude in 13 episodes. However, that number was reduced to 12 in April 2021.
This was a split-cour anime, in which a single season is interrupted from broadcasting for a number of courses during the third season. Even so, in this situation, the several courses were officially identified as belonging to separate numbered seasons. (A similar occurrence occurred when the 86 anime television series were announced.)
The third season of World Trigger concluded with the publication of World Trigger Season 3 Episode 12 (World Trigger Episode 97 in the overall series) on December 26, 2021. Twelve episodes were released on Blu-ray and DVD in two sets each.
Is it possible that World Trigger 4 will be released in a hurry in 2022?
The release date for World Trigger Season 4 has yet to be officially announced by either Studio Toei Entertainment or any other organization engaged in the series’ development. There has been no word on World Trigger 4’s follow-up. As soon as the news is officially confirmed, this post will be updated. While we wait for World Trigger 4 to be released, it’s possible to speculate on when or if it will.
After Hyuse abandons a large-scale Meteor strike plan, Chika Amatori’s willpower is put to the test in World Trigger 4’s spoiler section. Tamakoma-2 now sits second in the standings, but can they overtake them and secure a spot on the away team?
Because the overall ranking is determined by a mid-tier encounter, the last battle isn’t quite the end. In the final B-Rank match, Yuba Squad will do everything they can to maintain their position at the top.
This is Chika’s last chance to see senior shooter Akane Hiura compete in Cityscape C. With Akane as their lone survivor, Nasu Squad moves up to the B-top Rank’s echelon for the first time!
All eyes are on the agents to be chosen for the away assignment now that the season is over. Because Border HQ has to identify agents who may safely leave their squads without endangering Border, agents who join the away team are selected using cold calculations. If these operatives are discovered by a hostile Neighbor, they will be unable to provide any vital information about the Border.
Two Galopoula Neighbors, Reghi and Ratarykov, plan to sneak into Meeden without being detected by the sensors by not wearing Trion bodies. It is only logical that Yuichi Jin, who knows that the Neighbors’ goal is to derail Border’s upcoming away expedition, contacts the Galopoula because Aftokrator controls it.
In order to benefit both Border and Galopoula in the future, Jin intends to forge an alliance with the latter. The Neighbors’ only hope of overthrowing their Aftokrator overlords is Jin.
As if things weren’t complicated enough, Tamakoma-2 must pass a multi-phase away mission selection test in order to join the expeditionary squad despite her standing as number two.
This will be the most severe test for “Four Eyes,” as Osamu Mikumo and even Jin admits that the future might go anyway.
Border HQ will also use the event to determine which Border members are the most powerful. The outcome is that their squads are being reorganized. The present teams will be disbanded, and new ones will be formed with interim captains!
It’s too bad that fans of World Trigger will have to wait till the end of the year to find out what happens next. Be on the lookout!
