Kengan Omega, the gripping martial arts manga series written by Sandrovich Yabago and illustrated by Daromeon, has a new chapter out this week, and fans are wondering what’s next for Tokita Ohma and his comrades now that the Kengan Association vs. Purgatory is over. The enigmatic Chinese group known as The Worm is still at large in the depths of the underworld, and the next arc of Kengan Omega will almost certainly focus on the struggle with them.
Spoilers for Kengan Omega 139: Is the Worm Invasion Coming?
The aftermath of the Kengan Assocation vs. Purgatory tournament was shown in the previous chapter of Kengan Omega. The Kengan Association overcame Purgatory primarily due to the outcome of the last match, which saw Tokita Ohma defeat Rolon Donaire.
Nogi claims he’s scrapping plans for a merger between Kengan Association and Purgatory since the competition demonstrated how dissimilar the two organizations are. Toyoda is told by a Kengan executive that he wants him to continue running Purgatory but that Purgatory will now be a subsidiary of the Kengan Association.
Kengan and Purgatory will form a joint venture. Inter-promotion competitions will be held between the two companies, as well as a rental transfer system for fighters and gladiators.
Nogi has a safe position, according to Katahara Retsudo, but there are still grounds for anxiety. There’s Hayami Katsumasa’s selection as the Kengan Association’s deputy chairman. He claims that even if all of Hayami’s previous gang rose up, he would not allow them to destroy the Kengan Association.
Here are some huge spoilers now that Chapter 139 is out: Three-on-One is the title of the new Kengan Omega chapter, and it begins with Terashi entering the hospital room. Nicolas Le Banner (Jean-Luc) has been admitted to the hospital. Terashi stares at Jean-Luc and speaks to himself, informing “Nicolas” that Terashi is his Purgatory colleague.
Terashi apologizes for sending him the wrong person and informs him that he is looking for Nicolas. Terashi tells Jean-Luc to be careful before he departs, but Jean-Luc appears mad and perplexed as if he doesn’t understand what Terashi is saying. We see Akoya Seishu, who believes he is “not powerful enough to carry out justice.” After that, we see Narushima Joji and Kureishi Mitsuyo.
Edward Wu is enjoying a cigar and appears to have beaten Kure Raian, who is lying face-down on the floor. Wu warns Raian that he’s not much of an assassin and that the world “will have changed” by the time he wakes up.
Then there’s Fabio Wu, also known as “The King of Brutality,” and Solomon Wu, also known as “The Fist-Breaking King.” According to Solomon, Alan was the weakest of the group and a disgrace to the Wu clan.
Solomon tries to kick Raian, but he manages to avoid it. Raian, on the other hand, is beaten up by Fabio and Solomon. Alan claims that Huisheng has given him the ego of Wu Hei. According to Alan, there are five of them in the westward faction, and they refer to each other by their first names for simplicity.
Raian uses removal to attack Fabio and Solomon, but Alan knocks him off and tells him that they’ll battle him three-on-one. Surprisingly, “The Mighty Demon” Kure Eroih arrives and stabs Fabio in the back, telling Alan to make it a “two-on-two” fight.
