Halo Infinite Now Features a Slayer Playlist with Improved Challenges

Halo Infinite is receiving additional game types and enhanced difficulties for its online matchmaking as a result of numerous requests. Since the multiplayer component of Halo Infinite arrived a month ago, players have been able to enjoy battles with friends on both Xbox consoles and PC owing to the game’s cross-platform multiplayer. Because of the free-to-play nature of the multiplayer, players are encouraged to complete tasks that reward them with boosts and cosmetics for customizing their characters. When Halo Infinite arrived, however, the progression system left gamers feeling stuck due to the length of time required to level up. This was not the only issue that required adjustment.
Soon after the multiplayer component of Halo Infinite premiered, criticism began to pour in. Fans who purchased the Battle Pass felt duped by the game’s slow rhythm and the slow distribution of EXP earned through completing challenges and matches. Certain challenges would demand players to complete activities that could only be accomplished in certain game modes, which they could not choose due to the lack of custom matchmaking playlists. Many Halo Infinite fans complained about the inability to choose game modes, but happily, some of the complaints were directed to the Halo Support Site, which assisted the creators in improving the game.
343 Studios stated via Halo’s Twitter that as of today’s update, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer would include fan-requested playlists and further progression system tweaks. The tweet, which is linked to the Halo Waypoint Blog Post, highlights and summarises numerous changes that fans have hoped to see. With the addition of the Social Playlist option, four additional game modes have been added. The four new matchmaking playlists are the 4v4 team deathmatch Team Slayer, the eight-player every Spartan for themselves Free-For-All, the fan-favorite no radar or shields combat rifle Tactical Slayer “SWAT,” and the recent event’s Fiesta mode, which spawns 4v4 teams with random weapons.
The additional game modes will make accomplishing Halo Infinite tasks easier than ever before, thanks to the abundance of new gaming possibilities. Additionally, the update removes certain challenges that players were having difficulty completing and replaces them with challenges that may be achieved regardless of the game type selected by the player. They vow that these initial enhancements are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the developer’s future ambitions and support for Halo Infinite’s multiplayer over the following few years.
Halo enthusiasts can now be more choosy about their online matches. When the multiplayer was began, players were limited to Quickplay, Big Team Battle, Bot Bootcamp, and Ranked matchmaking playlists. Due to the absence of playlist customization, players were at the mercy of Halo Infinite when it came to completing battle pass tasks that required participation in specific game modes, which was a problem for someone who had three challenges that required participation in Oddball. Recent updates to the challenges and the ability to select the game style will resolve that issue and keep Halo Infinite enthusiasts blasting each other.
