Retribution lies at the heart of Granolah the Survivor Saga, which centres on the lone Cerealian survivor’s quest to slay Frieza in retaliation for the extinction of his people. Heeters can convince Granolah, though, that the Saiyans are also to blame for his race’s unfortunate past. Granolah, on the other hand, discovers that a Saiyan named Bardock (Goku’s father) saved him forty years ago. The Heeters, who can gather all seven Dragon Balls to make Gas the greatest warrior in the universe, come out to be the real villains of this arc.

The Heeters had sought to make Gas the strongest warrior in the cosmos in the previous chapter of Dragon Ball Super. While on planet Cereal, the Heeters admit that they made this wish and explain that Gas is now the strongest warrior in the universe since Granolah wished to defeat Goku and Vegeta and reveal that they made this wish after Granolah wished to defeat Goku and Vegeta.

Granolah is expected to consume the Senzu Bean Vegeta gave him in order to recuperate and then face Gas to avenge the loss of his mother and the destruction of his Cerealian race in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 79.
