In the absence of a Justice League video game from Warner Bros., a fan has built their own in Dreams. In response to Warner Bros. not yet naming their superhero squad, a clever fan has designed a Dreams-based Justice League game. It is a game development system that allows users to create and share their assets while also enjoying stuff created by others in the Dreams PlayStation 4 videogame. Rocksteady Studios’ upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature DC superheroes as foes for the eponymous squad of outlaws, even though there is no official Justice League game at this time.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, developed by the renowned team behind the Batman: Arkham trilogy, would let players take control of four morally questionable DC heroes. Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and King Shark will each bring their unique abilities to bear in an open-world Metropolis. The Justice League appears to have been brainwashed following an attack by the extraterrestrial villain Brainiac, prompting the Suicide Squad to take down the world’s most powerful heroes in some fashion. Unlike the Arkham series, the next Rocksteady game would reportedly combine open-world exploration with third-person shooter features. Batman: Arkham Trilogy references have been found in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which suggests that Rocksteady’s previous DC games are heavily involved.
Redditor TheRedProphett has taken it upon themselves to create their own Justice League game in Dreams as the famed squad will only feature as brainwashed villains in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Incredibly, the superhero brawler includes moves from Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman all at once. A power-up charges the Man of Steel with golden sun power as he flies above the ground and pummels his adversaries. Using a combination of close-quarters strikes and batarangs, the Dark Knight also can unleash a spectacular special attack from the Batwing. Once she has defeated her adversaries, Wonder Woman activates the Lasso of Truth to considerably enhance her combat range.
Gamers who enjoy DC Comics’ most famous crime-fighting team, the Justice League, are eager to be able to play as them in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. WB Games Montreal is working on a mysterious new DC game, but no details have been released yet. Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Origins, a precursor to the series, was developed by the same team that is presently working on Gotham Knights. One or more members of the Justice League could appear in a second project, in which Batman’s allies band together to protect Gotham City following Batman’s unexpected death.
There are a lot of comic book enthusiasts that want to see their favourite characters in AAA action games like Batman: Arkham and Marvel’s Spider-Man. It’s unlikely that the full Justice League could appear in an open-world adventure, but TheRedProphett’s Dreams design shows that they could. The Dreams project might make players clamour for a Justice League game from Warner Bros. if it gives each member of DC’s Trinity their special abilities.
