The second half of Attack on Titan season 4 will wrap up Eren Yaeger’s saga. When can we expect it to be released, and what are the risks? So far, for Attack on Titan season 4 part 2, here’s what we know. Season 3 of Attack on Titan ended with Eren Yaeger announcing that he was going to wage war on an unknown nation, and the show’s fans were both pleased and worried that there was still so much manga material left to cover in the final season. At 16 episodes, it didn’t seem like enough time for Attack on Titan season 4, which had more chapters to adapt than any of its three previous runs.
The final episode of Attack on Titan season 4, “Above & Below,” leaves the audience hanging in suspense. In retaliation for Liberio’s attack, Marley has Pieck trick Eren onto a rooftop where Porco (hidden among Eren’s soldiers) shatters the floor below. The airships carrying Reiner and the Marley warriors arrive shortly thereafter, leaving the Survey Corps stranded deep below in a jail. Floch, meantime, is still pursuing Hange to find Zeke, unaware that the Beast Titan was engulfed in a blazing blast with Levi and is now resting comfortably within the stomach of a Titan.
Season 4’s cliffhanger ending guaranteed fans that there would be more episodes, and alongside the mid-season finale, a planned “part 2” was announced. It’s not certain when the last episode of Attack on Titan’s anime will air. There are still six more episodes to go. And who knows what the future may bring?
Release date of Season 4, Part 2 of Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan season 4, part 2’s teaser trailer announced that the next episode, “Judgement,” would air in the winter of 2022. As a result of the news, Western fans may have feared that Attack on Titan would not return until the end of 2022. However, the Japanese winter TV season typically runs from January to March. As a result, the fourth season of Attack on Titan will premiere on January 9, 2022. Hulu and Crunchyroll will stream the second season of Attack on Titan, and though the amount of episodes has not been determined, it is expected to be similar to the first season’s 16 episodes.
Attack on Titan: Episode Guide, Part 2
In the final batch of episodes of Attack on Titan manga, readers will know exactly what to anticipate. A rematch between Eren and Reiner takes place in Shiganshina in the mid-season finale, but no details will be revealed here. Levi’s fate remains a mystery, as does what is happening to Zeke while he is trapped inside a Titan’s stomach. After unlocking the full potential of the Founding Titan, whether with or without his brother, Eren’s true goals will become clear. Is Eren Yaeger a hopeless villain, or is there more to him than meets the eye?
Despite the fact that Attack on Titan has yet to explain how the Titan’s strength came to be, the Survey Corps can’t be kept imprisoned indefinitely. In addition to the usual farewell parties for Mikasa, Jean, and Armin, expect Historia’s child to make an appearance. When Eldia and Marley’s conflict is over, season 4, part 2 of Attack on Titan, must disclose the world’s destiny. Is there going to be an end to the conflict? Is there a clear winner? Or will there be nothing left at all?
Has the end of Attack on Titan come?
Aside from finishing Hajime Isayama’s original plot arc, the Attack on Titan franchise has a good chance of surviving beyond this season’s four-episode run. New never-before-seen pages were added to the conclusion of the final volume of Attack on Titan after the manga’s final chapter was released in April 2021. The original version didn’t have a flashforward to hint at the continuation of the storey, but the enlarged edition has one that strongly hints that the Attack on Titan saga isn’t over. For now, there’s no official word on whether or not there will be a follow-up to Attack on Titan featuring a new generation of youthful heroes.
