When Tamahiko gets back to his room, he begins writing another letter to the family members. To get into the second year of school, he has to study hard and skip grades.
Tamahiko continues to learn and engage in additional battles with the local children. It’s been months since he started teaching, but the hamlet is getting a better education for future generations. Yuzu lends a hand and learns that he longs to do something special for her in return for her safety and security. Upon Ryou’s arrival, Yuzu is perplexed as to why Ryou has arrived at this particular moment. Ryou tells Tamahiko and the children that she has brought them food. Ryou’s arrival makes Yuzu nervous since she’s frightened she’ll lose Tamahiko.
