Muv-Luv Alternative Episode 9 depicts the Alternative V that transpired after Commander Sagiri killed the Prime Minister. Takeru has successfully journeyed from one dimension to another, but things turn worse when he returns and finds that Alternative V is set to begin. From Muv-Luv Alternative’s latest episode, the residents and the World panics after knowing the Alternative V is set to commence. Takeru realizes that there is chaos and begins to hunt for Sensi Yuuko. He realizes that the World is in danger.
Everyone within the HQ begins to panic and causes pandemonium. Before Sagiri kills the Prime Minister, he arrives at the HQ with his troops and begins to shoot everyone and all the guards. He removes the Prime Minister from his office and tells the soldiers to shoot the Prime Misters who rolled from the steps after dying. In the present time, Takeru enters Yuuko’s office and tells her about the Alternate Iv and explains why it is about to commence. Miko’s father, Yoroi, also appears and comments on that since he has been watching after Takeru.
Yoroi feels that Takeru is from the future after understanding that Takeru knows a lot about Alternative V. He had his say regarding the approaching war and opted to head to perform his task after Yuuko admonished him. Yuuko notices that Takeru is worried and encourages him not to worry. The debate about the forthcoming conflict and how it would damage Japan’s nation. Takeru realizes that the war has to be ended no matter what. But Yuuko is one step ahead since she has a secret plan, and she can’t divulge it because the spy might expose them. The higher-ups also join the meeting.

The higher-ups reveal what they know about America and what America aims to do at Japan and its population. Takeru sees that the conflict is unavoidable, and Yuuko assures them that she won’t allow the Alternative Iv to happen and America won’t do what they like in Japan. The higher-ups agreed with her as they didn’t have plans to end the conflict, but they believed that Yuuko would come with a better answer.
Takeru also had his say about the battle, and the two departed the room following the meeting. In the chapter, Takeru asks Yuuko about her goals. Yuuko says that they have time to implement her plan before the American’s attacks. Yuuko thinks that now is the finest moment for them to plan since Americans and Japan are still bickering, and they can decide before the conflict occurs. Takeru also met with Kasumi and talked about things. Later Yuuko got a call and summonsed everyone to her office. Takeru, Kaki, Meiya, and the rest arrive at her workplace.
Yuuko reveals that Suguri has assassinated the Prime Minister. Takeru becomes surprised and realizes that the Prime Minister is Kaki’s father and worries how Kaki will manage that. But Kaki acts fearlessly as if nothing has occurred. She believes that there is no time to cry since the actual war will begin soon. Yuuko pays condolence to Kaki’s family. Takeru finds that the Prime Minister was the last person remaining in Kaki’s family, and she is now left alone. He consoled her, and the American army launched the robot that ringed Japan. Takeru relays the warning to Yuuko that the Americans are ready to assault.
