The manga series written by Akihito Tsukushi, Made In Abyss season 2 will be released in 2022.
The season 2 of the series is titled “Made In Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun”. The main Twitter feed of Made In Abyss also shared a new trailer:
Studio Kinema Citrus will be in charge of animating the series. Sentai Filmworks has obtained the streaming license for season omitting (Asia, France, Germany, and Italy) (Asia, France, Germany, and Italy). The new cast includes:

Akihito Tsukushi started Made At Abyss comic in Web Commic Gamma in 2021. Since then, it has been compiled into 9 volumes. Kinema Citrus studio adapted the first anime season, which premiered in July 2017. The series also received an anime film, which debuted in Japan on January 17, 2020.
Despite the adorable aesthetics of Made In Abyss, the plot goes gloomy pretty soon. In fact, the creator of Hajime no Ippo also assumed that the series will be a delightful experience, until he watched it.
Synopsis
The huge cave system, known as the Abyss, is the only unexplored area in the globe. Nobody knows how deep down goes this giant pit, populated by bizarre and wondrous creatures and full of enigmatic ancient artefacts which purpose in unknown to contemporary man.
Generations of daring adventurers have been drawn by the unfathomable depths of the Abyss. In course of time individuals daring enough to explore the deadly pit came to be known as “Cave Raiders.”
