It is planned that Made In Abyss season 2 will be released in 2022, based on the manga series created by Akihito Tsukushi. “Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun” is the title of the second season of the television series. The official Twitter account of Made In Abyss also shared a new trailer, which you can see below:
The series will be animated by Studio Kinema Citrus, which will be based in Japan. Sentai Filmworks has obtained the streaming licence for the season, with the exception of the first season (Asia, France, Germany, and Italy). The new cast members are as follows:
Misaki will provide the voice for Fapta. Yuka will provide the voice for Kuno Vueco. Hiroaki Hirata will provide the voice for Terasaki Wazukan.
Mitsuki will provide the voice for Belaf. Saiga
In 2021, Akihito Tsukushi began publishing the Made In Abyss manga series in Web Comic Gamma. Since then, it has been gathered into nine volumes, which are available online. The first anime season, which premiered in July 2017, was adapted by the Kinema Citrus studio. In addition, an anime film based on the series was made, which will be released in Japan on January 17, 2020.
Despite the adorable aesthetics of Made In Abyss, the plot quickly turns more sinister and disturbing. In reality, the author of Hajime no Ippo was under the impression that the series would be a humorous adventure until he actually watched it.
