Roses are Red, Omae wa mou Shindeiru, Do you know what a Sussy Baka is??” Deku, what gives you that impression? If you were paying attention to the references above, you may have realised that memes are now a form of language — a means of communication. There’s a good chance you’ve heard or come across words and phrases that have been ripped from anime and video games. This proves that Anime and video games have become a global phenomenon. This lingo from video games and anime has entered our lexicon, making its way into numerous “inside” jokes. These slangs have taken the place of ordinary language because they allow us to convey our feelings in a more creative way.
Recently, a new set of terms has appeared. Both of the aforementioned languages are represented by this pair of words. After a single viral video, it has become a catchphrase and the subject of countless memes. Soon, you’ll be able to use it without thinking about it. The “Sussy Baka” is the name of this new combination.
Sussy Baka is a type of Baka, but what is it?
Knowing your memes is always beneficial. So where did this word concoction originate? My Hero Academia’s Deku was first called a ‘baka,’ which was followed by cries of “Baka! Deku!! I don’t understand why you’re acting like a Baka. “What’s up with your Baka behaviour?!” Bakugo wasn’t there this time, but he would have loved this TikTok live broadcast moment from Akeam Francis.
An account called Nyatsumii shared this excerpt from the live stream on TikTok after some time, which received 1.7 million views in the first month. A TikTok cover version of the phrase has been around from the time of its inception. A commenter urged Akeam to repeat the same line, but with an additional word, “Sussy,” in one of these covers. Thus, the phrase was born. Deku had become a Sussy Baka. However, what are the words truly saying?
When the Pandemic began, the game Among Us became an internet sensation. Sussy is a character from the game. Suspicious people in the game were referred to as’sus’, which translates to’suspicious’. ‘Baka’, on the other hand, is a Japanese word for ‘fool’ or’silly’. This means that whenever someone appears foolish or silly, you can call them “Sussy Baka” to express your displeasure (affectionately or derogatorily).
Sussy Bakas may be found in many personalities, but here are five that have had their own memorable moments:
Death Note character Light Yagami.
Though initially seen as an upbeat protagonist, Light ended up having several Sussy Baka moments in the Anime.. He was, in reality, an imposter and a sus among them all! This character has come close to exposing himself numerous times in the anime. In the end, what do you think? A 13-year-old beat him. It’s hard to believe this is the same person. Even still, I’d be interested in seeing him perform “Among Us” while monologuing.
Attack on Titan’s Eren Yeager
Eren Yeager has been experiencing his own Baka moments recently, or perhaps for some time now. However, he earns a place on this list because to the viral video he appeared in above. If your sense of humour is as shattered as mine, you’ve probably already listened to this tape a few times.
In the Naruto series, Sasuke Uchiha
“Baka moment”: According to our opinion, Emo Uchiha had his Baka moment by showing up and declaring his candidacy for Hokage in the middle of the 4th Great Ninja War. Even Kiba’s dog, Akamaru, is heard saying, “Bruh…?” in the same scenario.
They appear in Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War: Kaguya’s Story
I’m sure you’ve either blushed or face-palmed yourself while watching this anime because of their “Bakaness.” Due of their intelligence and self-awareness, they are admirable characters. Their arrogance, on the other hand, makes them suspicious bakas as they utilise their intelligence to play stupid games against each other.
