In his battle against White, Bam demonstrates his full strength in Tower of God Chapter 510. His strength, on the other hand, is not the only thing that has been boosted.
The months-long battle between Bam and White has now reached its culmination, with Bam resurrected from the grave in Chapter 507 and receiving an instantaneous power boost. He is now able to effortlessly overcome White’s superior strength. However, given that they had a significant power disparity at the start of the bout, the issue arises as to just how strong Bam is at the moment.
In Chapter 510, White acknowledges that Bam is already physically superior to him. Despite this, he remains confident in his ability to defeat Bam, which is likely due to the fact that he is a far more experienced fighter overall. That being said, White’s arrogance has always been his undoing, and the same is true this time around as well. As a result of his miscalculations about Bam’s defence and the strength of his Shinsu rain, which repeatedly weakens him, his initial strike is unsuccessful.
In the aftermath of his aborted attack, White feels he has discovered Bam’s vulnerability, which is his black orb, which is where he concentrates his abilities. He makes the decision to poke a hole through the orb, hoping to force all of the power to flow out so that he can absorb it. He succeeds. He is successful in making an opening, and he views this as an opportunity to finally devour Bam, which he takes advantage of. Bam, on the other hand, is well aware of his intentions and is counting on him to fulfil them.
Bam takes advantage of the interval between White’s assaults to regain his power, and he allows White to stab him in the back with his spirit sword on purpose. He understands that White’s sword is inextricably linked to his own essence, and that this connection allows Bam to absorb White’s energies instead of his own. Bam’s capacity to absorb the powers of others has been in the works for quite some time now, thanks to the efforts of others. When Bam speaks to the Blue Thryssa inside of him in Chapter 282, during the Hell Train storyline, the Blue Thryssa informs him that he possesses a gluttony ability, which allows him to absorb energies from others and transform them into his own. Because the devil inside Bam is likely to be more powerful than White’s abilities, his ability might be considered an improved version of White’s abilities.
Furthermore, it was established in the Floor of Death arc, in Chapter 333, that Bam possesses administrator-level power within him; he even absorbed more administrator-level power in that same chapter by way of the thorns, which can cause havoc with tower rules, as well as the millions of souls that White’s clones had transferred to him. It is therefore not due to some sort of supernatural intervention that he is able to overpower White, as many people assume. He merely learnt to harness the power that has always existed inside him in a far more efficient manner than he has previously.
Even more remarkable is Bam’s development in terms of strategic thinking, which has been a long time coming. When he had previously battled White, it had been a basic brawl. While Bam’s fighting style incorporates some high-level skills such as reverse flow control, he does not set up traps in the manner of Aguero Khun. The author shows that, not only is he capable of convincing the much more experienced White, but he also has the ability to surprise White with his level of composure, and even ruthlessness, in this chapter. The fact that Bam has always been willing to sacrifice himself during battles is now compounded by the fact that he does so in a far more devious manner this time. This demonstrates his development in tactical intelligence as well as combat experience, which may be more thrilling than Bam’s improvement in raw force.
In the previous arc, White was able to successfully fend off a one-handed Kallavan with relative ease. As a result, it is probably safe to believe that Bam has at least the same level of power as Kallavan. Arie Hon is the strongest leader of the Ten Families, and White believes that consuming Bam will elevate him to the same level as his father, Arie Hon, who is rated #5 in the Tower and is the strongest leader of the Ten Families.
While Bam may not yet be on the level of a single-digit High Ranker, he may be on the verge of being on the level of someone in the double-digit territory. Is he considered overly OP as a result of this? This is not always the case. Because he is one of the few irregulars in the entire Tower, he has always been considered exceptional. In order to bring down Jahad, who is presently ranked #3, he will require at least this level of power and possibly even greater amounts of power.
