ATTACK ON TITAN FINAL SEASON TO HOLD SPECIAL WORLDWIDE STREAMING EVENT ON NOVEMBER 14

The event will bring together the cast and crew for one final conversation before the debut. We are growing closer to the last season of Attack on Titan, and special events have already started trickling in. And on November 14, the cast and crew of the series will reunite for a livestream event that will be televised internationally.
Pony Canyon, the anime’s production company confirmed through Twitter that the livestream panel for Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 would take held on Nov. 14 at 5 pm JST. It will include voice actors Yuki Kaji (Eren Jaeger), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman), Marina Inoue (Armin Arlert), Kisho Taniyama (Jean Kirstein), Yuu Kobayashi (Sasha Blouse), and Ayane Sakura (Gabi Braun) (Gabi Braun). The webcast will be accessible on-demand until November 21, and will cost $29.99. We are not informed if it will feature subtitles or a live translation.
The series boasts a big fanbase internationally, and had been trending for a wide range of reasons. First, Riverdale actor Cole Sprouse cosplayed as Eren Jaeger for Halloween. Then reports started surfacing that popular first person shooter Call of Duty will feature an Attack on Titan event. And lastly, Congressman Paul Gosar tweeted an altered Attack on Titan video where his face was put over the Survey Corps soldiers as they destroyed many titans. The giants have faces of his political enemies like Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and even President Joe Biden. Gosar is presently facing threats of disciplinary punishment for the video.
New special episodes
Ahead of the final season’s launch on January 9, Studio MAPPA will release three recap specials, which will also incorporate footage from the series’ OVA (original video animation) episodes, and will portray the major event from the views of several characters, such Levi and Mikasa. New scenes will further be included as well.
Meanwhile, Funimation, who handles the series’ English adaptation, will have a panel during the Anime NYC event with the dub cast.
