Blue Lock Chapter 151: Recap, Spoilers, Release Date & Raw Scans

Finally, after many chapters of cliffhangers and difficult games, we readers and our favourite Blue Lock players can enjoy a day off together. Ego granted our players a day off as a reward for their most recent triumph, and for the first time in a long time, our Blue Lock players were free to take in the sights and sounds of the outside world. However, the Blue Lock team’s one-day rest was short-lived, since the U-20 team that defeated them challenged them to a rematch the following day.

However, in order to keep the day’s spirits up, the rematch will be completed through bowling. Bowling Showdown between Blue Lock and U-20!!

Recap of Chapter 150

Before we get into the spoilers for chapter 151, let’s take a quick look back at what happened in chapter 150, titled ‘Day Off.’ As previously stated and as can be seen in the chapter’s title, chapter 150 provides our gamers with a well-deserved day off from the action. The players’ phones and other things were handed over to Ego, who then sent them off on their two-week breaks as a thank you for their recent victory.

According to the evidence, Bachira, Chigiri, and Isagi have arranged to meet up at a coffee shop in the Shibuya neighbourhood. Isagi inquires as to whether they had invited anyone else, and Bachira and Isagi respond that they had attempted to do so but that the majority of the original Team Z was unable to attend. After meeting up with Reo, Kenyuu, Jyuubei, Tabito, Aoshi, and Otoya by chance, the group decides to travel to a local arcade to jump Nagi. The rest of the episode is devoted to this. Who didn’t show up because he woke up late and then went on to discover a new and exciting arcade to explore.

After a couple of games and having a good time, the group decides to try their hand at karaoke singing. However, while looking for available lodgings, the players come across the U-20 team. Both teams consider Blue Lock to be their dreaded adversaries, and they are preparing for a confrontation. Aqua, on the other hand, suggests that they instead go bowling and place a wager on who will win dinner.

Soon after they have arrived at the bowling alley, the teams begin to fill out their names until the Blue Lock team discovers Barou bowling by himself. As soon as he hits a perfect strike, the entire team gathers around him, to which he says, “You are infringing on my sacred space,” causing the entire squad to burst out laughing. The conclusion of chapter 150 was a wonderfully wholesome occasion.

Spoilers for Chapter 151

Now that we’ve all caught up, let’s get into the spoilers for chapter 151 right away. Note that certain raws for the future chapter have already been released, therefore there are confirmed spoilers in the following section; you have been forewarned.

‘A Changing World’ is the title of Chapter 151, which begins after the first few of games between the two teams have been completed. On the team’s penultimate turn, we witness the U-20s’ very focused Miruko get a strike, forcing the Blue Lock team to get a strike as well in order to tie the game. So, for the final roll, Nagi takes the field, the entire while thinking to himself about how hungry and sweaty he feels.

Nagi, who was clearly not paying attention, tripped over his own foot, resulting in the ball going down the lane and out of play. He miraculously hits a strike, resulting in the game being forced into extra innings. Isagi excuses himself from the gathering, stating that he needs to meet up with another friend in the meantime. While he is waiting for the train to arrive, a young child with his father and mother notices Isagi and approaches him. Further, the youngster informs the narrator that Isagi’s final goal was fantastic and that he admires Isagi and all of the other Blue Lock players.

After cheerfully shaking the boy’s hand and boarding the train, Isagi reflects on how much he has changed, both in terms of his aim and his perception of the world. Afterwards, we find out who Isagi was meeting with: Tada Tomonari, a former high school teammate who was present. We readers are well aware that he was the one who failed to achieve that goal way back in chapter one.

After meeting up with him and conversing with him, Tada says something to the effect of, “Wow, that was a lucky goal.” Tada then continues, adding, “You exploited all of your life’s luck to achieve that aim,” to which Isagi joins in the laughter.

Isagi chuckles along once more, but in his mind, he considers how, while the goal may have been a stroke of luck, everything else he performed in Blue Lock was a difficult battle. Isagi admits that he was incorrect, that the world didn’t change, but that he did. The two bid their goodbyes after another round of conversation.

It is in these final few pages of the chapter that we get to witness Ego in the Blue Lock conference room with individuals he refers to as “the major owners.” The major investors state that, despite the fact that this was a hazardous investment, it has turned out nicely. In response, Ego asserts that risk and reward will always be equal since otherwise it isn’t attractive to do so.

After that, Ego goes on to explain that he will involve the entire world in Blue Lock Phase 2, stating that it will be an entertainment endeavour of super dreadnaught proportions. In accordance with Ego’s craziness, the chapter will be closed there.
