Readers were introduced to the legendary fighters who served as the cornerstones of Black Dragon’s defenses in the last “Tokyo Revengers” manga edition. Still, their combat prowess will be tested when they face South Terano in Chapter 229.
This week’s episode of “Tokyo Revengers” aired in the United States on Tuesday, and it showed the street brawl that has broken out among Tokyo’s most powerful gangs since Draken’s untimely death.
“Dynamic Duo” appeared in Chapter 226 and presented the “Greatest Duo,” who, according to South, have held up to their reputation to this day.
Nobody can figure out why Mikey isn’t doing anything. Haruchiyo Sanzu, meanwhile, yelled “Die Kakucho” and slammed an iron pipe into his face.
Haitani Ran beats Sanzu with a baton while he lectures Kakucho about how much easier it is to fight when one has a weapon. When Rindo saw what had happened, he smirked behind Ran, saying that Sanzu used combat weapons correctly.
South was impressed and commended Wakasa and Benkei for handily defeating 100 members of the Rukuhara Tandai. Nakamichi asked Senju whether he knew anything about Benkei, who led the Ragnarok gang, which had 600 members and controlled the west half of the region.
Until recently, this gang was one of the most violent in the country, with an infamous boss for leaving blood-covered conflicts. Because of this, Benkei has been given the nickname “Redcliff.”
As for the eastern half of Kantou, Senju claimed that 12 different gangs controlled it until merging to form Koudou Renge. Yamauchi “White Leopard” Wakasa, the gang’s president, was the most dreaded figure at the time.
Only Sano Sinichiro was able to end the battle by uniting the two rival gangs and establishing The Black Dragon, which he named after himself. Takeomi Akashi claims that Wakasa and Benkei are Japan’s toughest brawlers and are fighting for Senju’s Brahman clan.
There is evidence that Benkei is putting his energies into defeating South Terano before taking on Mikey. However, it appears that Benkei has no choice except to face South Terano first. South is known to be as strong as Mikey, and Wakasa told him not to relax his guard because of this.
It finished with Wakasa and Benkei on their way after Rukuhara Tandai’s South Terano in the last panel.
The next episode of “Tokyo Revengers” is set to include South Terano facing Wakasa and Benkei. South is influential, but Wakasa is quick and adaptable, according to the leaked sketch. It appears to have been produced by series creator Ken Wakui himself.
South looks to be shot in the upper left area of his shoulder in another leaked sketch that went online a few days ago. It’s still unclear if these drawings are accurate or not.
However, if these results are any indication, South Terano will be defeated.
Every Tuesday in the United States, a new issue of the manga is released. Fans may look forward to spoilers being released between Friday and Monday, while raw scans usually are available on Tuesday.
