The Bamboo Cutter inspired the characters’ names in the show. There are two main characters in this story: Miyuki Shirongane, the president and vice president of Shuchiin Academy’s student council, and Kaguya Shinomiya, who appears to be a great match.
Kaguya is from a well-to-do family, but Miyuki is a brilliant student who is well-known across the prefecture due to his intellect. Both of them try various tactics to get the other to admit their feelings later in the story.
To close out Love is a War, Lino and Ishigami danced and had a good time together in the final chapter. It will be tough to protect the school once Kaguya and Miyuki have escaped, so she tells her two pals to get along and mature a bit. Later, Mikado confirms his sister’s prediction by offering Kaguya the last dance.
The only problem was that Kaguya didn’t have the time to dance with Miyuki because he had a lot of commitments. After a while, Miyuki shows there, and the two of them start dancing.
Kaguya aspires to remain in the present moment indefinitely. The next day, word circulated that Shinomiya’s influencer had ended and Kaguya had vanished.
