A slice-of-life comedy ONA series called “The Way of the Househusband” is based on a manga series of the same name by Kousuke Oono published in Japan.
A yakuza boss named Tatsu wishes to leave the criminal underworld to live everyday life with his significant other, not realizing the hilarious complications he is about to invite into their relationship.
Old friends constantly interfering with the protagonist’s routine as he tries to acclimate to his new reality often disturbs and sometimes makes his life more intriguing.
After its April 8, 2021 debut, the anime has been a hit with fans and critics, thanks to its humorous anecdotes and captivating storytelling.
You’re probably wondering now that the show’s second season is over when it will return for a third. If that’s something you’re thinking about, we’ve got your back.
When will Season 3 of The Way of the Househusband be available on Netflix?
Season 2 of ‘The Way of the Househusband’ debuted on Netflix on October 7, 2021, in its entirety. The second season consists of five episodes, each of which lasts around 17 to 19 minutes.
Here’s all we know so far about the upcoming second season of the slice-of-life anime. There has been no official confirmation of the show’s renewal from either J.C.Staff or Netflix as of this writing.
The second season (part) of the show has yet to premiere, so it’s too early to draw any conclusions, although the first season had high ratings and essentially great reviews. It’s difficult to see why that won’t be the case in the second installment after watching the most recent episodes that have been made available.
Additionally, Netflix has recently made significant investments in anime, acquiring the streaming rights to episodes like ‘Komi Can’t Communicate’ and ‘Blue Period,’ both widely awaited.
Given that the platform’s aggressive acquisition strategy is unlikely to stop anytime soon, renewed interest in the show appears to be high. Season 3 of ‘The Way of the Househusband’ will likely arrive in Q3 of 2022 if it receives the green light soon.
The Househusband’s Way The following section contains three significant spoilers:
Season 2 ends with Tatsu searching the market for Miku’s most coveted collectible: the limited edition Policure DVDs. Unfortunately, they’re all gone by the time he gets there because they went fast. Later, he is entrusted with the care of a friend’s lovely puppy, Kotetsu.
The ex-yakuza boss and his wife fell head over heels for their new canine companion right away. The next day, while out for a stroll, he runs into his old opponent Kunimi, who is also out and about with his dog.
Soon, they interact with each other’s pets and go for walks with their canine companions. At dinner with Masa, the protagonist discovers that he is having difficulty eating due to a cavity.
Despite his best efforts to keep his fear of the dentist hidden from Tatsu, Masa eventually admits that he has had it since childhood.
As a result of Tatsu’s persistent efforts, his friend is finally treated. Despite this, he has trouble sleeping at night since he can’t stop thinking about the yakuza and a slew of other unrelated issues.
After that, he calms himself by preparing a delectable lunch. However, just as the former mobster is ready to go off to sleep, his cat wakes him up.
For the third season, the protagonist is likely to engage in routine and repetitive activities, which will allow them to show their comedic side.
Miku and Tatsu will take a vacation at Bremen Farm to picnic and explore the surrounding area. As a result, the former mobster will meet his neighbor for the first time and end up getting to know him better.
