Spirit Chronicles: A Brief Synopsis
Amakawa Haruto was a young guy who died before he could meet up with his long-lost boyhood pal. Rio is a ghetto child out for vengeance after his mother was brutally murdered in front of him when he was five years old.
There are two worlds: our own and the other. Two persons from radically different social and cultural backgrounds. In some way, Haruto’s memories and personality are reborn in Rio’s body even though he was supposed to die. At this point, Rio resolves to live in this alternate reality with her new partner despite their memories and personalities merging.
Rio also gains access to Haruto’s memories and an unidentified “special power,” which he can use to better his lot in life. A kidnapping occurs before then, though, and it turns out to be a princess from the Bertram Kingdom, where Rio lives.
Rio receives a scholarship at the Royal Academy, a school for the affluent and powerful, for saving the princess. But, unfortunately, being an impoverished orphan in a noble school turns out to be an abomination.
