The release date for the second installment of the Final Fantasy 7 remake
Part 2 of the Final Fantasy 7 remake won’t be released until 2022, but it’s not out of the question that we could get the game sooner. However, given the project’s enormous scope, nothing can be expected, particularly since we know that some of Square Enix’s most significant projects take years and years to prepare.
In June of this year, producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed that planning for the game had begun. Director Tetsuya Nomura, on the other hand, indicated in a blog post that production would begin in November 2019. Yosuke Matsuda, Square Enix’s president, indicated in February 2020 that the delayed release of the FF7 remake would have no effect on the window for the next sequel.
The storyline for Final Fantasy 7: The Second Part
The FF7 remake credits begin to roll when the party has left Midgar. This is the point in the game’s original title where FF7 transitions to an open-world adventure that takes players all over the world. Cloud and his companions are tasked with stopping Sephiroth and Shinra from destroying the planet.
Even said, we shouldn’t hold our breath for the sequel to be an exact replica of FF7’s original plot. New characters and expanded roles for existing ones were introduced in Part 1 to pay tribute to the original story.
Although the characters Sephiroth, Shinra, and Avalanche will be changed in the remake, it is not yet known exactly how. Roche, a fan favorite, will return for the sequel, but that’s about all we know for now.
