A slice-of-life anime based on the manga series of the same name, Kanojo mo Kanojo is also known as Girlfriend, Girlfriend. Hiroyuki, best known for his work on The Comic Artist and His Assistants, is the series’ writer.

Anime adaptation company Tezuka Productions is working on the project, and they’ve previously worked on shows including Black Jack, How Not To Summon A Deamon Lord, and Dororo.

Akkio Toyodo is the character designer for Tezuka Productions, which also includes Satoshi Kuwabara as director and Keiichir chi as scriptwriter.

As for the soundtrack, it was created by Miki Sakurai and Tatsuhiko Saiki together. Last November, in the 51st issue of Weekly Shnen Magazine, the anime was first confirmed for release in the year 2020.

The air date for the next episode of Kanojo mo Kanojo is set for December 1.

At 2:25 a.m. JST on September 18, 2021, Kanojo wo Kanojo will air Episode 12. In addition, the anime will include 12 episodes airing over the course of about six months.
