Brook and Robin will fall for Black Maria’s illusions. One Piece Chapter 1020 spoilers
Due to the Tokyo Olympics, One Piece Chapter 1020 had been put on hold. This Sunday, August 1, will see the manga chapter release. The summary of the next chapter was already written last week. Now, spoilers are online. Let’s take a look.
One Piece Chapter 1020 will feature a fierce fight between Nico Robin (Black Maria) and Brook (Robin). Robin and Brook will be the first to see illusions allegedly created by Black Maria. The spoilers suggest that Robin and Brook will misunderstand Black Maria’s followers as their loved ones, or people they have lost touch with. Will the Straw Hat characters be able to see through these illusions?
Worstgen’s spoilers discussion suggests Robin would see the back of a giant and white-haired woman in his illusion. He believes the white-haired woman could possibly be Nico Olvia’s mother. The giant could be Jaguar D. Saul the marine Vice Admiral who saved her during the Buster Call. Robin can only see the backs of the characters so he’s not certain if they are his mom or the marine office.
Brook would mistakenly see unknown people in odd armor as his former crew members and instead, he would mistake them for other members of his past crew. Spoilers revealed that Brook could be prevented from attacking his loved ones by the illusion. Robin would reject the illusion and launch a scuffle against those illusionary characters who are Black Maria’s subordinates.
Brook may have shared his backstory with the Straw Hats. By July 29, the raw scan of One Piece Chapter 1020 will be available.
The manga’s previous chapter showed that Sasaki’s troops were defeated. Franky can beat the Tobiroppo one-on-one. Zoro was also featured in One Piece Chapter 1019. He has received an injection to speed up his recovery. After he wakes up, Straw Hat and Luffy also recover and are able to enter the Heart Pirates submarine. Luffy asked Law for food. It is not clear if Luffy will return to One Piece Chapter 1020, but it could show Zoro.
