Ryoma Takebayashi is an 11-year-old boy who lives alone in the forest but he lives with nearly a thousand slimes. Slimes evolve differently depending on what you feed them at Ryoma when they wake up. He sleeps in the same room as all of his Slimes, he feeds them and takes care of them. He fed some slime green caterpillars and they turned into sticky slime. Ryoma uses the sticky liquid they form inside the slime’s body to create a strong thread that helps him in hunting.

There is also Acid slime which has very acidic body fluids that can dissolve hard objects such as bones. Poison slime is the result of mucus that feeds on poisonous grass and survives. Cleaning slime cleans items by eating dirt and grime. The scavenger slime feeds on dirt and trash to make fertilizer, Ryoma enjoys life with his slime. When Ryoma was hunting, he sometimes met goblins and thieves and he had to clash with them.
