There are thousands of fantastic anime series that you can watch right now, but frankly, the volume of shows available can be slightly overwhelming at times. Despite this large amount of content, there aren’t many series that have the same level of creativity and originality as That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. Season 1 was a smash hit around the world, but many fans are wondering when the second season and the equally popular OVA series will return.
Reincarnated In A Bath
This is great news for fans of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime, Season 2 has been officially confirmed by Eight Bit. While this news was not particularly surprising to many of us, an official confirmation is always welcome. Not only was the anime incredibly popular with fans, but it also received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics for the animation, script, and creativity.
Additionally, we have the manga series that the anime is based on, which released its 15th volume in July and is only growing in popularity.
Release Date for Slime Season 2
Season 2 of That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime is slated for release on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. The second episode was originally slated for release in October 2020, but like many anime, it had to be delayed for a few more months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Thankfully, the anime will be back in early 2021 and will be an episode season, with the first of the second half currently slated for July 2021. However, we’re also going to be receiving an anime spin-off from the original April 2021 series titled Slime Diaries, so there’s a lot of awesome gooey content to look forward to.
